We want to make the switch to Lincoln National Bank as smooth as possible for you. Below are some simple steps to take to start enjoying the benefits of our hometown service with modern conveniences.

♦ Open an account. If you do not have an account with us already, stop by one of our convenient locations to open one. You can view a list of our account types online by clicking here.

♦ Establish or transfer your direct deposits. Fill out the Direct Deposit Change Notice and give one to each of your depositors. For US Treasury deposits such as Social Security, go to the Go Direct website to enter your new account information.

♦ Transfer automatic payments. Complete the Automatic Payment Change Notice and send one to each biller (i.e. mortgage payments, utilities, insurance premiums, internet, cable, gym memberships, etc.)

♦ Close your old account. Make sure to leave enough funds in your old account to cover any outstanding checks or automatic payments. Once your last check has cleared and all of your direct deposits and automatic payments are posting to your new account, you are ready to close the old account. Fill out the Checking Account Closure Notice and send it to your former financial institution.
